Now we are going to keep all those viruses off of your computer. First, download avast! Anti Virus here. Then open the installer package that you just downloaded. Install the program and restart your computer.

 

You may want to set a password for the antivirus so outsiders who still may manage to control your computer can't change any logs, or even so your kids can't turn it off. To do so, look in your taskbar at the bottom right-hand corner. You should see a blue "a" spinning in a circle. It may not be spinning, depending on what it has to scan. Right click on the "a" and click "Set/Change Password..." A box like this should appear:
